You cane easily make it vegan by switching out the milk, ice cream and protein powder for your favorite vegan alternatives. Hemp seeds (not powder, as it’s too strong) would also work as a replacement for the protein powder.


Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Milkshake

This Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Milkshake is gluten free and vegetarian. Make it vegan by replacing the milk and ice cream for your favorite vegan alternative and using a vegan protein powder. It's thick, creamy and the perfect post workout treat

Servings: 1 serving


  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 banana peeled and sliced
  • 1 scoop vanilla / chocolate ice cream
  • 1 scoop protein powder (either plain, vanilla or chocolate flavored)
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp cocoa

You will also need

  • a blender


  • Throw everything into your blender and blend until smooth. Drink Up!


Tips: To make the recipe vegan, use a vegan protein powder, a plant/nut based milk and a vegan ice cream
