This mango smoothie bowl is thick and creamy. To top it we made a quick 5 minute stove-top Almond Berry Granola, but you can top it with anything you want! If you want to add protein to this add some hemp seeds or your favorite protein powder.

 

Mango Smoothie Bowl with Almond Berry Granola

Frozen mangos and bananas are blended up into a deliciously creamy smoothy bowl. It's topped with a 5 minute stove-top almond berry granola fro a filling breakfast!

Ingredients

Mango Smoothie Bowl

  • 2 mangos cut into chunks and frozen
  • 2 bananas cut into slices and frozen
  • 1/2 cup almond milk

Almond Berry Granola

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup Almonds
  • 2 tbsp coconut flakes
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • pinch of salt

You will also need

  • food processor or blender

Instructions

Almond Berry Granola

  • Combine oats, almonds and a pinch of salt and toast in a small frying pan over a low heat for 4 minutes.
  • Add in coconut and toast for another minute. Add in coconut oil and honey, evenly coating the oats and nut mixture for about a minute.
  • Remove from stove, mix in berries and allow to cool.

Mango Smoothie Bowl

  • Combine mango, banana and almond milk in a high speed blender and blend until completely smooth.
  • Divide smoothie mixture into two bowls and top with granola.

Notes

Make sure the oats are gluten free if you follow a gluten free diet
You can use honey instead of maple syrup for the granola, if you're not vegan
