The Pros of making your breakfast before you go to bed. You wake up and it’s there waiting for you, saving you valuable time in the morning. The con’s – you need to pre-plan.


These blueberry overnight oats take 5 minutes of actual hands-on time to make. It’s just a matter of combing all the ingredients in a jar and letting them sit. Time and the fridge does most of the work for you. Prepping it in a jar also means you can grab it and take it along with you if your mornings don’t allow for sit down meals.

This recipe makes two portions so you can divide the mixture into 2 jars before popping it into the fridge for 2 ready to go breakfasts.


Blueberry Overnight Oats

Overnight Oats are perfect for summer breakfasts and morning you know you don't have time to make a sit-down meal. These Blueberry Overnight Oats are vegan, dairy free and gluten free with no added sugar.

Servings: 2 servings


  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp shredded coconut
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 3/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries


  • Combine oats, chia seeds and coconut in a bowl. Add in the milk and mix well. Fold in the blueberries.
  • Transfer your mix to a jar or cover the bowl and place in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • In the morning take the oats out of the fridge, they should be softened and nice and thick. Divide it into two portions and serve with fruit and a dollop of nut butter.


Don’t like or have almond milk? Use any type of milk
Can’t get blueberries? Switch it out for another berry.
Use gluten free oats if you want it gluten free, use regular otherwise.
