Collagen in supplement form has been popular for years now. While your body does naturally produce collagen, that production slowly declines in your 20s which is where supplementation comes in.

Why Supplement with Collagen?

My favorite way to use it is in this collagen coffee shake. It’s easy to make, delicious and not as heavy as having a smoothie (another great way to incorporate collagen into your diet). In addition, it avoids the concern of whether putting collagen into hot coffee reduces the effectiveness of it.

I use OKJA Liter o’ Latte oat milk coffee drink, which I get solely for this. If you can’t get it, you can combine 1-2 shots of espresso with your choice of milk.

  • blender


  • 1 cup OKJA Litter o' Latte
  • 1-2 medjool dates pitted
  • 1 serving collagen powder
  • ½ tablespoon nut butter optional


  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth
